JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE
ZERO TOLERANCE
The purpose of the Junior Football League of Central Illinois (J.F.L.O.C.I.) is to provide
an environment that encourages everyone to participate in learning the fundamentals of
tackle football, and have fun while doing so. Sportsmanship is essential in all of our area
programs. Sportsmanship includes behavior and attitude from players, coaches,
officials, parents, cheerleaders and fans.
In an effort to encourage a positive support base for everyone, The J.F.L.O.C.I. has
adopted a Zero Tolerance Policy. The goal of this policy is not only to promote
sportsmanship, but also to encourage positive and effective communication between
area boards, coaches, players, officials and parents.
Therefore, Coaches/Directors, Family Members and Spectators that demonstrate
behavior that is detrimental to any area program may be removed from that respective
program. Detrimental behavior is defined as physical and/or verbal abuse towards any
participant, coach or official at any time. Vulgar language, Physical Abuse or
Gestures WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Fans are expected to conduct themselves in a
manner consistent with good sportsmanship. Coaches are expected to conduct
themselves in a manner consistent with the Coaches Code of Ethics. Violators during
JFLOCI functions will be ejected. If it is a Coach or Director, the responsible parties will
be brought before the Infractions Committee for action up to expulsion.
I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, encouragement and sportsmanship
for all players, coaches, directors, officials and fans at every game, practice or other
youth event. I will promise to be a respectful fan and remember that the game is for
children and not for the adults.
I have read the Junior Football League of Central Illinois (J.F.L.O.C.I.) NO
TOLERANCE policy, and will do everything in my power to implement and abide by
these rules at all times.
