8-14 as of September 1st, 2026

Appropriate players at least 8 years old, or 7 years old and have completed at least one year of Flag Football. 7 year old players will need to pass an evaluation by the head coach and area director in order to be cleared to play. Players must not be older than 14 years old on or before September 1st, 2026, and must not be in high school.

The season practices start in late July and the season can run into early November, depending on how far your player's team moves along in the post season.

Practices for all age groups are held at Richwoods High School, behind the school on the practice fields. These fields also serve as our home game location. Away games are played at other JFLOCI locations around the area.

Practices run 5-7pm M-F for the first 4-6 weeks. Once Richwoods High School begins their games, no Friday practices. Once your team starts their games, Practices typically drop down to 3 days per week (dependent on the head coach to decide how many and which days)

There are 7 in season games and the post season includes: 1 bowl game, or if your team makes it to the playoffs, then a round 1 game in week 8, if they win in round 1 they move on to the semifinals in week 9, and week 10 all winners of the semifinals play in the championship game, also, all losing teams in the semifinals play in the 3rd/4th place game.

Jerseys, helmets, shoulder pads, practice pants and game pants will be provided for the season and must be returned at the end of your player's season.

Mouthguards and cleats are required and provided by the families of the players

Custom Jerseys can be purchased as an add on in the registration (must provide up to 3 preferred numbers)
